And with just over ten minutes remaining one of the Italian side’s ball boys chose to try and gain his side some vital respite.
Only it didn’t sit well with Ferreyra at all, who ended up pushing the ball boy over the advertising hoardings while trying to grab the ball off him.
Comical… but a little too far.
Amazingly former Newcastle striker Ferreyra didn’t receive a red card for the incident but Shakhtar were unable to force a vital equaliser.
